Why “Weird & Wonderful”?
In every community there are those who have always walked in the prophetic—those “prophetic people” who naturally sense God’s presence and speak what He’s revealing—and those who yearn for a first-time encounter or clearer hearing of His voice. Our class is designed to bring these two groups together, offering a warm, encouraging environment in which:

  • Prophetic People find community and understanding, receiving encouragement and practical wisdom for stewarding their gifts.

  • People who are Hungry learn the skills and tools they need to discern God’s voice in the rhythms of daily life, from quiet whispers to vivid experiences.

By bridging both worlds, we build a safe space where everyone—whether you’re accustomed to the “weird” or simply hungry for the “wonderful”—can grow more confident in hearing and responding to God.

Our Three Foundational Values

Accessibility
“…God poured out his Spirit on all flesh…” (Joel 2:28)
Since we are all made in the image and likeness of God, every believer is hard-wired to hear and respond to His voice. No matter your background, personality, or level of experience, you have direct access to the Holy Spirit. We believe that prophetic encounters are not reserved for a select few but are available to everyone who chooses to listen and obey.

Accountability
“Test everything; hold fast what is good.” (1 Thessalonians 5:21)
True growth requires responsibility. Each of us is called to weigh what we hear against the unwavering standard of Scripture and the wisdom of a loving, biblical community. In our culture of fallibility, we encourage you to take risks in sharing what God is saying—knowing that honest feedback and careful testing help us all discern truth without fear of condemnation.

Diversity
“…when brothers dwell in unity, there the Lord commands the blessing.” (Psalm 133:1-2)
God delights in speaking through a kaleidoscope of methods—dreams, visions, quiet impressions, even everyday conversations. You don’t have to look, sound, or operate like anyone else to hear His voice. Embracing this diversity not only honors the richness of His creativity but also strengthens our unity as we learn from one another’s unique experiences.

All Scripture is breathed out by God…that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.” —2 Timothy 3:16-17
